Yeah, I remember being disappointed about that too

As I was dropping Cory off at daycare this morning, a transformer blew in the parking lot. Boom-Flash, sparky sparky. We went into the building and half the building was without power. I told the staff that a transformer just blew outside. As I was putting Cory down he said, “Daddy, Transformer? Where is it? Wanna see it!” He was very excited that there was a transformer nearby.

I’m pretty sure he was looking for a robot in disguise.

Sorry, kid, in the real world transformers are just trashcan-looking-things on the top of utility poles that if you’re lucky you might see blow up really pretty in a storm. They hardly ever fight over energon cube production or ride space bridges to Cybertron.

See, what did I tell you about respecting your robot friends? Now it’s too late. Oh, the HumanityRobotity of it all.
