More Thoughts on November 3rd

My sister sent me the following email about her thoughts on the Kerry loss. It's long, but a good read.

A number of you have sent me your thoughts (or someone's thoughts who
resonated with you) as we look at the aftermath of what we thought was the
little candidate that could. Some allege fraud, others resignation, and
still others tell me "that's it, I'm moving to Canada." (Yeah, as though
Canada wants us.)

Here is how I spent Nov. 3rd.

What Do We Do Now?

I've spent all day in shock. I was sure we'd tell the rest of the world that we didn't want to be led and represented by the lying warmonger who's going to be in power for the next 4 years. I was proven wrong. Another 4 years of our civil liberties being walked all over, and some very scary supreme court appointments are sure to happen.

So, what do I do now? My first political action post election? I'm becoming a member of the ACLU. I have a feeling we'll need them now more than ever.

10 Years Ago Bush Could Actually Talk

Watch this video clip of Bush 10 years ago. He could talk! The theory is he's now has presenile dementia. I just tried to find a google link to a medical definition of this disorder, and the 3 of the first 10 links are stories about Bush.. Wonderful.

Not scared enough yet? Try searching for "Dry Drunk Syndrome"

Update: Ben found a nice torrent link to the video linked above

“I’ll have a Coke” “What kind, Hun?”

Finally you can check if you should say Soda or Pop listed by county. York appears to be on the border of a cultural war fought on 2 fronts, battling "Pop" from the west and mass of "Coke-ists" in the south. Be strong, my soda drinking brothers, be strong!

People Are Things To Be Used

that's pretty much what the president is saying with his actions in this video clip. During a commercial break on The David Letterman Show Mr. President used a staffer as a HUMAN KLEENEX. Nice.
