So, I kinda missed getting this up in time for my birthday, but the Complete Monty Python’s Flying Circus DVD set I got from Meg is pretty awesome, and I wouldn’t have thought to ask for it, which makes it all the better… but if need some ideas for Christmas and I’m not too late posting this time, here is my wishlist for this year:

First, the witty t-shirts:

I’d like this shirt, don’t worry, it’s funny to me.

PEBKAC, the tech support battle cry.

This was supposed to be the future. They lied to us.

And now, gadgets:

twin rotor RC helocopter. wee!

For 4 years now, I’ve placed my gifts-I’d-like-to-receive-for-my-birthday-and-christmas-list on the web, mainly because my grandmother asks for the list, and I’m a sucker for creating long lists full of links.

I’m very behind on my Terry Pratchett reading: The Wee Free Men,<strike>Going Postal,Where’s My Cow, and Thud</strike> –Thanks, Mom.

Neil Gaiman appears to have been quite prolific since I last bought books as well: <strike>Anansi Boys</strike> – Thanks, Eva and Marvel 1602

The Tick, Entire Series on DVD–wait. this is the live action series. I want the cartoon. which isn’t out yet. nevermind.

Firefly, Complete Series. Shows this good deserved to be watched over and over again (in the correct order), even if Fox cancels them (after airing them in the wrong order.)

Things to silence my noisy desktop PC:

Gigabyte GV-N68128DH GeForce 6800 128 MB video card.

Zalman Tech (CNPS7000BCU) CPU Fan

Antec Phantom 500 (PHANTOM500) 500-Watt Power Supply

Antec SONATA ATX Mid-Tower Case

Other Fun Geek Toys:

USB GPS dongle, Because where ever you go, there you are.

DC to AC Power Inverter, because you never know when you’ll need to convert your car into a horribly Inefficient generator. Though my car would be less inefficient than most.

I could definitely use a few more 512MB SD cards. A 1Gig card would be neat too…

I could use another charger for my cell phone.

Aquarium Stuff:

Algae cleaning crew, 20 Gallon should be fine.

Plant plugs. These really seem to help establish roots in plant cuttings. I could use a few more.

or maybe just some gift certificates from the nearby big fish store.

over the past few years, I’ve been putting my christmas list online. Apparently I missed putting anything on the list in 2003. That would explain all the socks I received. Don’t worry, I needed socks. It worked out well.

Well, since I have a real life actual CMS system now, instead of updating the old page, I thought I’d compile a list of commericalism here. So, sticking with my old format, here we go:

Dream List

Three of these, and nine of these, I’ll be all set.. I’d like to point out that this gift idea has gotten a lot cheaper in the last few years.

a neat little cell phone. yummy.

This list used to have a lot of cool robots to do my chores on it, but I’ve decided I need the exercise instead. Oh well. The other robots come back once they build a robot to exercise for me too.

Read on for the realistic list:

My PC is very noisy, and I’d like to try and fix that a new quiet video card (with adapter) and

a quiet processor fan, and

a quiet power supply should all help.

I’d like some Terry Pratchett books.

I’d like the final part of Neal Stephenson’s Baroque Cycle
