Our CSA has been raising them for the last few seasons. The next time we get some I'll put some pictures up on flickr. The purple potatoes are Andean in origin and are much smaller than a standard russett and even most red potatoes. Coincidentally I went to a local Hispanic festival and they had a Peruvian juice made from purple potatoes. It looked like grape gatorade and tasted like sugar water.
