We Don’t Mess Around
We went out to the Leader Heights Diner last night and were the only people in the restuarant, and the musician that was playing was pretty good. he did some amazing sounding guitar work on a keyboard. I kept moving around in my seat trying to get a better view to make sure there wasn’t a guitarist working with him that I didn’t see. There wasn’t.
Then I got a wonderfully twisted idea. I asked him to play Freebird.
the piano-player replied, “Freebird? Really? We don’t mess around” and he played it. Really well. I was amazed. I tried to record some of it on my palm, but it crashed again, so I called Ben and left some of it on his voicemail. It was teh awesome.
I feel like I should add a Freebird catagory to the site. That would be wierd.
