Hey, I’m An Uncle!

My eldest sister just ( well, at 1:19 am) gave birth to a baby girl. I don't have a lot of details yet, but I'll update this post when I find out more than "everyone is healthy and tired."

Update: (12/13 7:46 pm)7 lbs 13 oz, 30 hour labor, no name yet.

Update: (12/14 7:41 pm) I've got a small photo gallery up:
tired mom and baby

I'm not sure, but I think the name is: Alexandra Evelena Kozyrev nevermind, still undecided.

Update: (12/15 9:14 pm) A final decision has been made on the name: Lena Dimitrievna Kozyrev. The etymology goes like this: Lena comes from Evelena which is russian for Evelyn, Joann and my paternal grandmother. Dimitrievna means daughter of Dimitri. Kozyrev means that guy who's married to my sister.

  4. Joann,
I’m so happy for you. It seems like I just say you a couple of months ago with Susan at North Campus , and you certainly didn’t look pregnant! Must have been longer than a couple of months ago, huh? Way to go.
