I'm back. I'd post neat pictures of stuff in Florida, but my camera suffered a ziplock bag failure when I fell over when kayaking in the intercoastal waterway in Canaveral. so it'll be a while until I get a card reader for my xD card… and a new camera… guess I better update my X-mas list..

I'll be in Florida until the 30th, so don't expect much from the blog. Also of note, the blogroll on the right side of the page broke for no particular reason it seems, so I've disabled it until I have time to fix it.

over the past few years, I've been putting my christmas list online. Apparently I missed putting anything on the list in 2003. That would explain all the socks I received. Don't worry, I needed socks. It worked out well.

Well, since I have a real life actual CMS system now, instead of updating the old page, I thought I'd compile a list of commericalism here. So, sticking with my old format, here we go:

Dream List

• Three of these, and nine of these, I'll be all set.. I'd like to point out that this gift idea has gotten a lot cheaper in the last few years.
• a neat little cell phone. yummy.

This list used to have a lot of cool robots to do my chores on it, but I've decided I need the exercise instead. Oh well. The other robots come back once they build a robot to exercise for me too.

Yesterday, I got a call from meg while I was on my way home. She took a bath after work to relax some. When she got out of the tub and went down stairs to find a wet ceiling. Not good. (more…)

Saw some possibly awesome news today. Rumors that T-Mobile is Going EDGE?. This will give me an excuse to upgrade to a cooler phone and have a much faster data connection when mobile. Here's hoping for a quick nationwide rollout. (via Engadget)

Update: looks like this is only going to be rolling out in selected markets (read, not here)
