Cellphone with Bluetooth == Bluetooth Mouse?
So, since I'm not supposed to ssh out from work anymore, (well, I never was really supposed to be able to, but they actually asked me to stop.) I was browsing for new cellphones, as was our fashion at the time. I don't need a new cellphone, my t610 is quite serviceable, but has some things that annoy me.
1. it has 2 megs of memory. I have to delete SMS messages about every week, especially if I have any pictures stored on the camera.
2. Said camera is really crappy. I know when I bought the phone I thought "who cares if it's crappy, I'll probably never use the camera, but it'll be a fun little toy" and it turns out it is pretty fun, but really, really crappy unless you are in direct sunlight (or near a 7-11). This resulted in me often going "oh, neat! let me take a picture of that with my cellphone. *click* wow, that's really crappy. *delete* grumble grumble."
So, if I found a phone with say, a slightly higher resolution camera and a flash, and a lot more memory, I could be very happy. Lo and behold, I found the Sony Ericsson K700i. This phone has a VGA resolution camera, making it slightly higher than my current T610, has a flash, and has 40 MB of memory. Other features I'm digging: has a built in flashlight, camera can take video clips, can be used as a TTY if I ever need to call a deaf person, and get this. It supports Bluetooth HID mode. What does that mean? When connected to a PC, it's shows up as a BT mouse and keypad. Ain't that funky?
Down side? it's almost $460 dollars. bleh.
Just go all-out and get the P910. I think you can find one for under $1,000.
